Helena J. Renwick

Helena has been creating art her entire life, she graduated with a Fine Art degree from the University of Toronto in 1992. Since moving to Huntsville over 24 years ago and raising three beautiful children with her husband Cameron, she has found more time to pursue her creative side. Helena changed careers in 2019 she has taken advantage of the quiet time during the 2020 pandemic to create a series of paintings. Here in Muskoka, there is a never-ending supply of landscapes, skies and vistas to paint. Helena has created many large paintings and designs for various theatrical productions in Huntsville, but now she feels a special connection to more personal works of portraying landscapes. Helena choses bright bold colours to capture light in her works. Helena has taught painting classes at Deerhurst Resort and she instructs painting classes through the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and Huntsville Art Society. In September of 2019 she began teaching Beginner Acrylic classes and life Drawing at More Than Just Art. In July of 2021 she will commence teaching for the Municipality of Bracebridge.
