Carole, with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration, has had a highly successful business and professional career. In her last professional position she was Executive Director of the Victorian Order of Nurses, for Peel Region.

Carole serves her community by contributing to several organizations in leadership roles. She is a long-standing member of the Muskoka Arts and Crafts, the Huntsville Art Society and the East Central Ontario Art Association (ECOAA). This year she is again accepting the co-ordinator role for Algonquin Park’s “Mystery of the Park” yearly fundraiser, show and sale 2024.

Carole is an impressionistic painter who cares less about detail, more about colour and abstraction. She believes in continuous learning and is constantly exploring ways to “attack the canvas” resulting in fresh new approaches to her art. She attributes her success and artistic growth to renowned Canadian artists, Jack Reid, Brian Atyeo, Mike Svob and Michael O’Toole.

She is an accomplished teacher and workshop leader and provides regular workshops at her home studio. She has begun a new affiliation with Mastrius Workshops under David Langevin. Carole continues to grow as an artist. Painting to Carole is an ongoing journey, a source of great fulfillment, wonderful friendships and satisfaction in helping others achieve their artistic goals.

Carole’s works are featured in following galleries: Auburn Gallery of Fine Art (Gravenhurst, Ontario) auburngalleryoffineart.ca and the Oxtongue Gallery of Dwight oxtonguecraftcabin.com. Her art can be seen at her home studio by appointment only.
