Jori E. Morrison

A lover of all seasons, Jori finds inspiration on her daily walks in nature in Huntsville and PEI. Her paintings, done in acrylic and oil on canvas, hardboard or wood, show the viewer that the most ordinary scene can be a bold dance of colour. “I still get nervous standing in front of a blank canvas, but once I get started I’m lost in the process.” After studying with a wide range of teachers Jori is currently enjoying an year-long online course taught by 26 professional encaustic painters.
