Originally from Winnipeg, Noreen grew up sketching and drawing from an early age. She continued to sketch whenever time allowed during her busy 26-year military career. Finally in 2016, she was able to pursue her love of art, taking courses and learning different styles and techniques. Her art has been displayed at both juried & non-juried shows in the Niagara Region and Florida and can be found by collectors in Canada, U.S., and the U.K. She loves colour and is most inspired by the Group of Seven. She first visited the Muskoka region in 2013 and instantly knew it was where she wanted to live, finally moving to the area in 2023. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Noreen’s art reflects her adventures and connection with nature. She paints both plein air or in her studio.
