Andrea McCallum

Andrea McCallum explores the intersection of place, memory, and natural phenomena through printmaking. Her prints often emerge from emptying her pockets at the end of a walk, or consulting her collection of leaves, sticks, and pine cones. Repetition is everywhere in nature, it’s the small quirks that are magnetic to Andrea. By engaging with both the physical and metaphysical presence of nature, Andrea creates works that reveal the essence held within these small fragments of earth, reminding us of our place within it.

Andrea has an Honours Bachelor Degree in Studio Art from the University of Guelph, and a Diploma in Visual Merchandising Arts from Sheridan College. Her work has been shown in Guelph, Kingston, and Toronto.
