Stone carving amulet workshop for adults & teens with Elise Muller

Learn the ancient craft of stone carving amulets which can be worn as a necklace or carried as a touch stone.
Choose from a variety of carving stones such as alabaster and soapstone. Design a shape that is special to you or brings you luck and shape the stone with hacksaws, rasps, and rifflers.
You will learn to polish your amulet with various grits of waterproof sandpapers and finish it off with beeswax-based polish. A hole can be drilled and cording tied with adjustable knots to wear as a necklace.
