About Partners Hall
Partners Hall is a busy spot within the Algonquin Theatre; it is home to the HAS Partners Hall Gallery and to the Theatre’s concession and also serves as host venue for many countless smaller events and activities which take place throughout the year. All these uses help to ensure that your work is seen by many visitors, including HAS members and all those who happen upon it by chance.
Available for Tier 2 Members
For Artists who are applying to show in Partners Hall, the Town and HAS have created these FAQs for you here.
About the Huntsville Public Library (HPL)
This beautiful and unique downtown space is a high-traffic location that sees many local residents as well as visitors. It’s a great way to introduce your work to a larger audience, add a solo show to your CV, and practice your curating skills!
There is space for over 25 canvases or frames, depending on the size. The library staff prepare and print your labels for you. They also print and frame your bio and show introduction. Shows are shared on the Library and HAS website,
newsletter, and social media channels. There is no hanging fee and no commissions on any sales. The only requirement is that the art be family friendly and be wired to hang.
Shows are two months in length. Installation is coordinated with you, the volunteer curator, and the artist currently showing.
We encourage artists to speak to the library staff about opportunities for community engagement, such as hosting a workshop or artist talk, during your show. For best results, we encourage you to plan for this as soon as you book your show.
Available for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Members
About the Hospice Huntsville Gallery
Our partnership with Hospice is one way the Huntsville Art Society is facilitating opportunities for promoting and growing visual arts in the community!
This is an intimate space for clients, their friends and families, visitors, volunteers, and staff at Hospice. The welcoming atmosphere has space for up to five hanging works, average size 22×30”, and room for one large 40×50” in the dining room but a smaller piece is suitable as well. Artists prepare their own labels and
can leave their bio and/or business cards at the front desk.
Shows are shared by both Hospice and HAS through our website, newsletter and social media channels.
Shows are two months in length. Installation is coordinated with you, the volunteer curator, and the artist currently showing. We aim to meet on the first Wednesday of the month. There are no hanging fees or commissions, however, some artists have generously donated a portion of their sales to Hospice and receive a tax receipt.
