Wildlife photography has been my passion for many years. Algonquin Park and Muskoka have some of
my most favourite places to photograph wildlife and landscapes. Another favourite place for me to do
photography is at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta where there are wild horses. In 2021,
my wild horse photographs and articles were featured in Our Canada magazine and in Reader’s Digest
International. I feel blessed to be in nature photographing the animals God has provided for us to enjoy.
Within the last couple of years, I began taking painting lessons locally as this was a passion that I really
wanted to follow. My photographs provided me with great reference material and I began painting.
I fell in love with painting as much as I did photography. Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in a
co-exhibition with my paintings at the Algonquin Room gallery in the Visitor’s Centre of Algonquin Park.
For me, each photograph and painting represents a personal experience of very special places. I love
working with the palette of my paintings to create colours, light and textures. With each stroke of the
brush I am brought back to the time when I was at that very place. Through my lens, I capture special
moments in time.
