Elise Muller grew up in Hamilton and went to art school in Dublin, at McMaster University, and at Haliburton School of Art + Design (EXA and Jewellery Essentials Certificates). Elise has been a stone sculptor since 2001, carving a variety of stones such as Marble, Alabaster, Limestone, and Granite. Her work ranges from small pendants to large sculptures for gardens and for public places. Elise lives and works at Stone Tree Studio with wood worker Cirvan Hamilton in the Lake of Bays township of Muskoka.  Their studio is surrounded by forest, gardens and wildlife where Elise is constantly inspired to create, whether that be jewellery, sculpture or printmaking which has been a passion since art school.
